Being able to understand and evaluate your own energy consumption is often the first motivation to become active. For this purpose, co2online develops benchmarks such as the Heizspiegel or Stromspiegel. In doing so, we rely on our own dwelling database with more than 1 million data records. Publications of the benchmarks are accompanied by extensive media work.

Heizspiegel für Deutschland

The "Heizspiegel für Deutschland" helps to evaluate the heating costs and the heating energy consumption of private households - by comparison values measured against the national average. For the 2018 heating mirror, co2online has evaluated around 61,000 heating energy data sets from all over Germany. The heating mirror is supported by the Federal Environment Ministry as the client and the German Tenants' Association e. V. as cooperation partner.

Stromspiegel für Deutschland

The "Stromspiegel für Deutschland" provides nationwide valid comparison values for the power consumption of private households. The basis for this is around 226,000 consumption data and current studies by the project partners. The electricity mirror is the result of a broad social alliance of consumer organizations, business associations, energy agencies and research institutions.
